The EIN Summer University is the main highlight of our events programme. Each year, in a different city, the EIN Staff and Members actively plan the event, where key speakers take the stage, such as Prime ministers, MEPs, Members of the U.S. Congress, Members of National Parliaments, key stakeholders and key representatives of European institutions, debate and question open-mindedly the most vital issues the world faces at that time under one main Theme for a couple of days. A large number of over 300 applicants from Academic, Business, International, EU and Journalist sector are welcome to participate.
The international and growing global character of the Summer University is reaffirmed and further extended with speakers and participants, joining European colleagues for the discussions, from a number of countries such as the United States, Egypt, India, Australia, the Latin American countries and many others. This enables the EIN Summer University to reach important conclusions in a truly global perspective.
The annual Agenda consists of various roundtables, where the participants have the opportunity to reach in-depth, internationally oriented conclusions in strategic areas of European policy. The first half day is always dedicated to a monographic discussion of a current issue.
