Is Europe Full?

On the 11th and 12th of May the European Ideas Network will hold a conference in Budapest, Hungary, on demographic, migration and ethnic minorities issues, with the title «Is Europe full?». These subjects are three of the most controversial, of those all the European Union have been facing in the past few years. Throughout its history the countries of the European Union had various waves of immigration, however the Arab Spring, the Civil War in Syria and the unstable dictatorships in Africa has led to a crisis that Europe has not seen since the Second World War. How were the European Union and its Member States going to deal with this difficult situation? In addition, there is the issue of ethnic minorities, which are already living in several Member States, and their rights. Your input would be central in shaping our position to better regulate such a sensitive subject.
